I bought this stereo Dvd player with the upmost of optimism.Being cheaper isn't always good when it comes to car electronics believe me.This stereo is proof.I had it installed expertly at best **** .The stereo does look nice and feel solid.Forget looking the spectrum dancing display during the day.At night though all things looks beautiful.The Lcd screen is nice too.The sound out of it sounded good through my Rockfords.Not so great through my sub.Sounded a exiguous muffled at times.It only has one mono sub output line.I paid extra for a Y adapter for my sub.Now the bluetooth worked awesome with my motorola Trac-fone.The stereo would mute when I answered and the other person would here you through the provided microphone and you would hear them through your car speakers.It was clear on both ends.Now the downfall was some other things.One thing was I when you preset your radio stations and go to pick one of those preset stations afterwards the radio goes directly to that station......for about ten seconds then goes back to your traditional station.Another annoying thing is when your listening to a Cd about fifteen minutes into the Cd the stereo stops playing the Cd and on its own switches back to the radio.Then one exiguous later the Cd will come back on but not where it left off.And the final straw was when it wouldn't read my Ipod at all.So I had it expertly uninstalled and sent it back.In this sorry case I guess you can say you get what you pay for!

everything you need to know about traction cables... : Security Chain Company Super Z6, SZ135, Cable Chain for Passenger Cars, Pickups & SUVs - Set of 2

I found this product effective. I traveled safely to my destination and had to drive about .5 miles up a steep hill to faultless my journey. I was unable to climb the hill due to the estimate of snow, had to back down, put the chains on and walked right up the hill. There were a combine exceptions as to why this item didn't get a higher rating. One of the yellow clips used to pull the chains tight in the middle of the tire came off and because of the tension is probably circling the atmosphere (I used the end of a bungee cord as a replacement). I found areas of my white raised lettering on one of the tires chopped off as well as two places on the sidewall have worn through the black rubber coating exposing the next layer. It is requisite to practice putting the chains on before you need them. Carry a flashlight with extra batteries. I guess that's about it. Very productive item, though the other mentioned items were disappointing.

marvelous radio for a great price - installed in a Smart 451 ForTwo : Dual XDMA6415 200-Watt AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA Receiver with Built-In Bluetooth (Black)

I bought this specifically for the Bluetooth features, and found them disappointing. After using the Ford Sync system in a rental car, I was impressed by how the stereo could sync with my iPhone while it was still in my pocket, so I looked for a cheap stereo that could do the same.

This stereo is capable of doing so, but there are a few problems. First, whenever it was streaming audio over Bluetooth, that audio was very noisy. It had a high-pitched static, sort of a "fizz" sound to it. It was very noticeable, as it would come on and off with the audio. Unfortunately, I am a bit of an audiophile, and this was just unacceptable to me.

*By the way, this is Not the motor whine sound, as I used to have that and know what it sounds like. This is some kind of noise or interference related with the Bluetooth connection.*

The other issue is that it took up to 30 seconds for the iPhone to join together to the stereo. This may not sound like much, but I can join together my phone to the Aux cable and be playing in less than half that time. Also, the buttons on the stereo were slow to respond. I would push pause and it would riposte on the iPhone up to 5 seconds later. None of these issues occurred with the Ford Sync, although I perceive it is a much more costly system.

Overall, these issues were just too much for me, and I ended up returning the stereo. Since I already have an Aux line in my car, I decided to order the Griffin AutoPilot Charger for iPod and iPhone (2010 Packaging) instead, as it allows me to join together only a single cable and still lets me play, skip, reverse, and pause without waking up the iPhone.

After reading so many mixed reviews, I decided to take a opening and try them out for myself. I have to admit, the 1 page (if you'd like to call it that) of "installation" instructions was quite humorous. I agree with others on that part.

The hardest part was finding the wiring diagram for my Equinox. We finally decided to tap into the accessory powerlet in the middle console. Once we did that, the rest of the factory was a breeze.

The sound ability from the speakers are for real good and having wireless headsets is definately a bonus. The best part is having two Dvd players. Now on our long trips we won't hear any arguing over which movie to watch. They each have their own. Ahh the peace and quiet we will have now.

I am any way amazed at the complaints about the seller being non responsive on the units. The units are clearly marked that you have a one year warranty with an address and instructions on what to do if it breaks. I am not sure why you would try to send it to the seller, that's like buying a Pansonic Tv from Best Buy and 6 months down the line you have problems with it and complaining to Best Buy... Why? I did get a SquareTrade Warranty on the device, so it's nice to know that it's protected for 3 years with accidental assurance on it. I would recommend it since it's the kids that will be using it and they can be a small rough with things at times.

I would have to say, compared to my Insignia Dual Headrest monitors (that just strapped to the back of the headrests and were $199.99) that this was a much best deal and well worth the money and time spent.

This product is not fit very well. Granted, I know it isn't car specific, but jeeeeezuzzzzz !!!! I brought this to put it on my Infiniti M35X. At first it was cool. Soon after it became an issue. I live in Ny and it isn't that windy on my block. I come out one day and the damn thing is on my neighbors car balled up. Then I ordered the lock and chain for it. I came home from work one day and the lock and chain were still on as was the cover, but instead of it being on the car, it was on the ground at the back of the car. It isn't fitted on the sides so as soon as any wind blows, it starts to come up at the front and back. If you can avoid buying this cover, please do. It is not a very well constructed cover.
